The Ebbsfleet Development Corporation’s planning committee has granted approval for the delivery of a Morrisons supermarket, a gym, nursery, neighbourhood green and 83 affordable homes.
The latest planning permission is a major step forward in delivering a mixed-use scheme at the Kent site which will contain 1,700 homes and transform the 660-acre former quarry within the wider Ebbsfleet Garden City.
Henley Investment Management in a joint venture with Camland Projects is master developer of the 660-acre site.
Consisting of three villages, Alkerden, Ashmere and Castle Hill, ‘Henley Camland’ is delivering enabling works and supporting infrastructure across the site, facilitating the delivery of 6,250 homes in total.
Construction of the district centre is expected to get underway in later this year targeting a completion of mid-2025.
Paradigm has and is delivering the adoptable pumping stations pumping up to 25 megalitres per day of foul wastewater from the homes on this site.
