Following extensive design work with Willmott Dixon and Couch Consulting Engineers, Paradigm have been awarded the pumping station contract for the new Victoria Embankment Cricket Pavilion in Nottingham.
Victoria Embankment Cricket Pavilion is currently in a state of disrepair and hasn’t been used for approximately 20 years. Local residents felt that, due to its distinctive design and heritage, they would like to retain the current building, but have it upgraded to modern standards and re-opened.
The English Cricket Board and Trent Bridge Community Trust (TBCT) have plans for increasing participation in cricket and have invested in Victoria Embankment by repairing the existing artificial cricket wicket and adding 2 new wickets. These development works have meant that a new sewage pumping station is required for the foul discharge from the site.
