Studley Castle Hotel

  • Client: Main Contractor
  • Number of Pumping Stations: 2
  • Project Location: Studley
  • System Type: Sewers for Adoption & Private

As part of it’s £35m upgrade, this stunning castle required a new Severn Trent Sewers (STW) for Adoption pumping station.

The Grade II listed building was built in the 1830’s and boasts over 200 luxury rooms with stunning guest facilities.  Such a development required a robust and reliable system to ensure the hotel’s continuous operation maximises the client’s return on investment.

The adopted pumping station, boasting a rising main of over 1km, was installed to replace the existing sewage treatment plant.  Paradigm were contracted for the design, installation and commissioning of the pumping station and ensuring it met STW’s requirements throughout the design and build.

In addition to this system, Paradigm also provided a smaller private pumping station for a detached house within the castle grounds.
